Most students are drained from competition during the summer months. But there are a few activities that can be done during the summer to keep players’ minds sharp and to prevent the drop-off that students often experience after a summer-long hiatus.
Presidents facts and Propaganda sections won’t be any different now than they will be next year. Now is a good time to get started on these games, because students can study independently or on the phone (or even via the Internet) with other students.
Don’t allow students to practice too much though, as they might get burned out before the season begins next school year.
