Debrief Players – Part I

When a round ends, many players talk to teammates about what how they did in the round, win or lose. A coach should tap into those conversations. If the coach is helping judge or score or players must leave immediately, the debriefing may not happen until the next day. But it is still valuable to know why a player won or lost, whether in a cube or reading game.

The coach may detect a pattern in players’ responses.
