Start Slowly but Surely

Even high school students can be completely unaware of the many rules of On-Sets, Equations, and LinguiSHTIK, so reviewing the basic rules first can be beneficial to advanced players and especially helpful to those just starting out. With many other activities competing with Academic Games for their time, it is important that students not get so discouraged that they want to give up the games. If your students feel competent when learning or succeed when competing in a game that is completely new to them they will be more likely to keep playing the academic games.
