LinguiSHTIK Quiz – September 2018

In the middle of a shake, Player One calls a demand: the word may have no vowels. Player Two takes her turn and puts a cube in LETTERS. Later in the shake, after a Challenge Now is called, the players present their Solutions. Player One says Player Three’s Solution is incorrect because the word she formed contains a vowel and therefore doesn’t meet all the demands.
A judge is called; what’s the ruling?

(A) Player One is correct. The word contains a vowel, so Player Three’s Solution is wrong.
(B) Player Three’s Solution is correct if all the other demands are met even though the word contains a vowel.
(C) No one can have a correct Solution because an Illegal Demand was made.
(D) The Illegal Demand is not valid and is ignored when the Solution is written.
